Black-Friday

Black Friday is one of the most popular days of the year for retail shops. It is certainly the most competitive selling day of the entire year. Stores are doing everything they can to outdo each other and offer the best deals to shoppers. Places like clothing stores or mattress stores try to offer clothes for a great price and a Black Friday mattress sale that you simply cannot get anywhere else at any other time of the year. There are literally thousands of Black Friday deals going on and special hours that they are available. As fun as Black Friday shopping can be, it can also be a bit of a challenge when you are looking for ways to get all of the best deals and find all of the best discounts on every product you have had your eye on. Below are a few insider tips that will help you learn how to get the most bang for your buck this Black Friday season.

1.) Look at your local ads and check your apps

Your local newspaper (whether real paper or online) is going to be stuffed full of ads and coupons on Thanksgiving day getting you ready for preparations for Black Friday. If you are serious about your shopping, then take some time out of your Thanksgiving day to cut out some of those coupons so that you can maximize your savingsand get all the special discounts that can only be found in ads on top of the discounts found in the stores.

Many stores nowadays also have an app tied to them. On Black Friday they will put out the best deals that they have and tell you exactly when to find them and when the deals end. Many of them will even compare the prices of the products you are looking at so you can get the best discount on the product you want.

2.) Start your research BEFORE Black Friday

If you start researching deals and products that you want on Black Friday, then chances are you are not going to find what you are looking for and by the time you get to a store that has the products you are interested in; they will already be snatched up. Being knowledgeable about the products that you are interested in and the best places to go that will have them will keep you from missing out on the things you really want. You will be able to get to places in time to catch all of the best deals.

3.) Take advantage of the early-bird shopper discounts

While all of the deals on Black Friday are great and will definitely save you money, there are ways that you can get ahead of all the other shoppers and come out even better than most. There are a lot of stores that will offer doorbuster prices that are amazing deals for people that go shopping at or before midnight and other early-bird special deals. Finding the stores that offer these early-bird deals can really add up to big-time savings, especially if you are shopping in one large shopping center so that you can hit all of your stores almost at once and take advantage of all of the early deals.

4.) Plan out your entire shopping trip

One of the best things you can do for yourself is to plan out where you are going to go and what you are going to get when you get there ahead of time. Planning ahead means that you will know what stores are having the biggest sales. It will give you time to compare prices and come up with a strategy for which store you want to hit first and plan out a game plan for each store in turn after that. You will be able to prioritize the stores that are important for you so you don’t miss all of the big deals that you are interested in.

5.) Know the store’s return policy

Knowing what a store’s return policy is can help you narrow down the stores that you want to shop at and which ones you may want to steer clear of. Make sure you keep all of your receipts so that if something you get on your hunt during Black Friday does not live up to your expectations, you can return it without an issue. There are some stores, however, that do not allow you to return or exchange things you buy at such a large discount on Black Friday, so make sure you read their policies carefully so you know which stores will let you make exchanges and which things you will be stuck with no matter what.
