Yu Masui’s LFW day two

Yu Masui is a London based fashion journalist who started his career as a buyer at the legendary Pineal Eye. Introducing many emerging talents, his selections also extended to several Japanese boutiques. He's since returned to his roots as a fashion writer, a discipline he studied, contributing to leading Japanese titles. Masui is also a self-confessed "lazy blogger", happily writing about food, travel, lifestyle and sometimes fashion onYu ♥..., parallel to his deadlines.

It's finally getting warmer and feeling like Spring/Summer after the horribly freezing weather, which ruined Yu's new Loubies and Charlotte's tomcat shoes with the unexpected heavy snow during Paris men's.

*sobs*

Anyway, Yu is bringing out fresh SS13 favourites today! Yellow and Pink, trendy bright colours meets metallic, the must-have of this season. Burberry Prorsum blouson, Lanvinshirt and jeans and Acne shoes are defo on the wishlist from Yu's moodboard and online boutiques. Neoprene and studs make for a nice mix of construction and texture...

BTW, it is still not warm enough for bare legs. Thanx, HEATTECH!

For The First Time, Boehner Offers A Concession On Raising Taxes

John Boehner

AP

John Boehner has made his first concession on letting taxes rise, as part of the negotiations over the looming "fiscal cliff."

According to Politico, CNN, and AP, John Boehner has proposed that taxes could go up on millionaires, provided they were accompanies also by spending cuts, entitlement cuts, and tax reform.

Not surprisingly, Obama has already declined, as his demand is for taxes to go up for those making $250K or more.

That being said, it sounds like this is a start to the real Fiscal Cliff negotiations. Now that the subject of tax hikes has been breached, the two sides have a shot at horse trading, and finding enough common ground to avert the Cliff.

That being said, Boehner's spokesman told Politico: "The lines of communication remain open, but there is no agreement, nor is one imminent."

Manny Pacquiao Gets Knocked Out By One Punch In A Stunning Upset

Manny Pacquiao got knocked out cold by Juan Manuel Marquez in a stunning upset in Las Vegas.

After getting knocked down earlier in the fight, Pacquiao came back and seemed to have Marquez bleeding and on the ropes. But in the sixth round, Marquez caught Pacquiao with a brutal, brutal right hand.

One punch and that was it. Manny was out before he hit the mat.

It was a huge upset, and has massive repercussions for the sport, as a Pacquiao-Mayweather fight now loses a good bit of its luster.
