The recently held Monaco Boat Show 2021 delighted guests with some of the world’s finest superyachts, tenders and toys. However, this year, attendees were also treated to a superb selection of some of the world’s finest high-end goods, befitting of a luxury lifestyle both on land and at sea. 

Yachting and real estate have been the two most emblematic industries connected with the principality and most of the time, they go hand-in-hand.

Demonstrating this, the Upper Deck Lounge at Port Hercules showcased the latest creative trends dedicated to the luxury lifestyle, from premium watches, tableware, fine leathers, and custom furniture – items that are equally at home on the world’s finest superyachts as they are in the most exclusive luxury real estate for sale in Monaco.

Sabrina Monte Carlo is an interior design studio, founded in 1999 in Monaco, who works in both the yachting and real estate industries. The brand boasts four showrooms, located in Monaco and St Jean Cap Ferrat, which showcase luxury furniture, fabrics, tableware, and accessories. Sabrina Monte Carlo is an official partner of the Monaco Yacht Show, supplying the luxury lounge of the show with furniture. The brand is a collaboration with an international and professional client base, including famous architects and interior designers. Sabrina Monte Carlo has designed and decorated more than 150 of the largest yachts worldwide, private jets, Louis XV apartments in Paris, chalets in the Swiss Alps, and grandiose palaces in the Middle East.

Another exciting exhibitor at the Monaco boat show 2021 was Montecarlo Automobiles S.A.R.L. The company was founded in 1983 by the legendary driver and engineer Fulvio Maria Ballabio, who aimed to set new standards in the hyper-car industry, both in terms of performance and engineering. Montecarlo Automobiles introduced two new prototypes at the Monaco boat show 2021, the MIG20 and ÉTÉ. 

Both of the exclusive cars are designed specifically for superyachts. They are designed to be housed in a yacht’s tender garage, giving yacht owners freedom both on land and sea, in addition to the promise of excellence and exclusiveness. Boasting traditional craftsmanship combined with the very latest state-of-the-art technology, including an electric/hybrid engine and automatic transmission, ÉTÉ and the MIG20 are custom made in Italy to reflect clients’ individual wishes.

Italian manufacturer Curti Aerospace showcased their latest product, Zefhir, a two-seat helicopter. Zefhir is the result of modern aerodynamic simulations combined with Italy’s tradition of style. Boasting unique technology, Zefhir features an innovative ballistic parachute rescue system for those seeking the utmost safety for peace of mind. Zefhir also features best-in-class power-to-weight ratio, ensuring more life and greater manoeuvrability, while its advanced aerodynamic design offers unmatched performance.

One of the most visited stands, however, was Only Watch, which is under the high patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco. Only Watch is a biennial charity auction of luxury timepieces made by the finest watchmakers in the world. During the Monaco boat show 2021, visitors had the opportunity to see some of the masterpieces, which will be auctioned-off on 6 November by Christie’s. Funds raised from the auction will benefit research into Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a genetic disorder that is characterized by muscle degeneration and weakness.
