Israeli clothing giant, Castro, recently presented their new Fall/Winter collection for 2012-2013. FashionTV was front and center at the show in Tel Aviv, which calls for a colorful, stylish, and dramatic Fall/Winter season.

This year's collection is inspired by nostalgic fantasy across time and continents, from old fashioned European ski trips, Agatha Christie novels, and the style from 90’s television show ‘Twin Peaks’ to historical gothic era of medieval times.

Castro’s headlining model and spokesperson is popular Israeli model/actress Gal Gadot, who has appeared alongside Vin Diesel and Paul Walker in the Fast & Furious movies. Gadot, opened the show in a double-breasted brown trench coat along with sexy knee high boots. She was joined by Castro’s male headliner Yonatan Wegman.

Castro’s new winter collection is a brilliant combination of mystery and travel. Inspiration came from Eastern European heritage and folklore along with some gothic history. The result is a winter collection full of presence, rich textures, wool coats and dip effect. The collection is accompanied by touches of gold elements, specifically on military uniform coats and wool pants.

Additional fabrics such as nylon was in presence, designed with colorful quilt. Four separate lines were featured on the runway, BLUE Women, BLUE Men, RED Men and BLACK. Originally, the BLACK line was launched in the previous season and has already been known to give customers sophistication and trendiness to one’s personal style.

This year, models walked down the runway in leather trench coats, high-waisted leather flowy skirts and black velvet slim dresses with a low neckline. Thin and light transparent chiffon was delivered along with cropped camel-colored suits, burgundy shades and silk scarves. The runway also included hues of plum, teal, beige, brown and of course a whole lot of black. From pencil skirts to trench coats, the audience was completely surrounded in dramatic leather.

For men, Castro created trendy and elegant formalwear full of tailored silhouettes and strict suiting. Accessories included biker boots, umbrellas, wool scarves, leather gloves and oxford shoes.

Gadot and Wegman closed the show, strutting down the catwalk in full on black. Gadot sported a sweetheart draped gown and Wegman stunned in a black-collared trench coat over black suiting.

Kate Middleton presents a royal fashion app? Not exactly. Still, a new mobile phone app has been launched tracking the Duchess of Cambridge’s every single style move. The app has already been downloaded by thousands of royal fashion lovers, revealing all the names of the designers or stores where each particular piece can be purchased. (Vogue UK)

Moving on to another Kate… Katy, that is. Katy Perry goes pumpkin on the cover of L’Officiel September issue with orange hair. Perry’s hair will soon complete the full spectrum of colors in a rainbow, after being featured in bubblegum pink, platinum blonde and just about every other color you can think of. Victoria’s Secret is being sued for $15 million by Zephyrs for misleading consumers and producing cheaper products. Allegedly VS are still packaging their products with visuals by Zephyrs-produced hosiery, which are no longer providing their top quality Italian hosiery to the lingerie giants. (Fashionista)

President Barack Obama will appear on the cover of Glamour’s November issue. This is part of Obama’s campaigning efforts to target new audiences in alternative news outlets. He will also appear on ESPN Magazine, People Magazine and more. (WWD)

‘Jersey Shore’ star and fashion designer Nicole Polizzi, aka Snooki, gave birth to her first baby boy named Lorenzo Dominic LaValle. The boy’s father is Snooki’s fianc Jionni LaValle, whose relationship with Snooki was also seen on MTV’s hit reality series. (MTV)

Closing our list of fashion highlights for this week, James Franco collaborated with 7 For All Mankind for a limited-edition T-shirt collection. His collection embodies the “cool California spirit”, with the graphics on the shirts gleaned from over 3,000 Polaroid shots taken during the campaign’s video shoots which were also made by Franco.

New York Fashion Week opens today! Which, of course, is a great opportunity to review the history of this prestigious event. NY Fashion Week was the very first Fashion Week ever, before Paris or Milan, way back in 1943. And it was called ‘Press Week’. Next year will be the 20th Anniversary for New York Fashion Week. Stella McCartney leads the British Fashion Awards 2012 with three nominations. McCartney is nominated for Best Designer, Best Fashion Brand and Best Red Carpet Award. American fashion stylist and designer, Rachel Zoe, seems to be taking a step back with her clothing line. The Bravo TV star has been rumored to take her name off the list of London Fashion Week, since her clothing line has reportedly been a disappointment in several American department stores. After conquering Vogue Italia in August, Lana Del Rey lands the cover of Vogue Australia’s October issue. While the rest of us are gearing up for the Fall season, the singer was styled in clothing for Spring! (Styleite)

Closing our list of fashion highlights for this week is Taylor Swift’s new video, which was released this week and is getting tons of views each day. It has already neared five million views. In the video, Swift introduces several outfit changes, from ridiculous pjs to a great floral dress at the end. Take a look:

Victoria’s Secret Angel Candice Swanepoel suffers from a tragic Photoshop fail, featuring uneven boobs in a bra advertising campaign. The photo was meant to be used for the “Ad 2 Cups Multi-Way Bra” campaign, but generally people expect bras to do their magic on the entire chest and not just one side. (Refinery 29)

Kate Moss & George Michael will appear on the cover of Vogue Paris. The October issue will feature the two together, mimicking a red carpet shot, with Kate wearing a gorgeous Elie Saab red gown. Both Michael and Kate appeared in the closing ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics, and Moss has guest-starred in Michael’s new music video this summer. (Huffington Post)

Sarah Jessica Parker the new editor of Vogue.com? Not exactly--but she plays the part well in a Glee debut which has been released. According to reports, Anna Wintour worked closely on the wardrobe for the character, which will once again surely mark Parker as a world-famed fashionista. (Vogue UK)

Oscar Wilde once said, “No man is rich enough to buy back his past.” This is especially true for Victoria Beckham, a celebrity who sees her future at a totally different place than that of her past. Cheesy teen modeling shots have been revealed of the former Spice Girl star. (Styleite)

Lady Gaga answers her critics for putting on weight by starting a ‘Body Revolution’. The mega pop star has recently been faced with a public attack for her weight, which by looking at the new pictures is clearly not the case. Greenpeace have launched a full throttle attack on retailers who use hazardous chemicals in garment manufacturing, recently attacking Spanish giants Zara. Victoria’s Secret mega-model Miranda Kerr was heavily inspired by the initiative and according to reports may turn her back on Victoria’s Secret, who is also vulnerable to these attacks. (Styleite)

Paris fashion show cancelled because of missing goods… Turkish designer Hakaan Yildirim was forced to cancel his show at PFW, due to mysteriously losing his Spring 2013 collection. Last November, the same thing happened to Marc Jacobs. (Washington Post)

Closing our list of weekly highlights, Kristen Stewart attended Balenciaga's Spring 2013 presentation at Paris Fashion Week. Showing up in high spirits, wearing a bold outfit with a neon jacket and black printed pants, she sat next to Anna Wintour and Salma Hayek in the front row.
