Reading Time: 3 minutes

With the end of this pandemic increasing looking like it might be just be around the corner, we can now begin to dare to dream of a time where we can visit new places, see new things, and never take hugging our loved ones for granted again. It is time to unwind, and Denver is a pretty fantastic place to do that in, so with that in mind, let us take a look at some of the things you can do in Denver, and start to enjoy a bit of adventure again.

Get Up in the Mountains

Denver has some absolutely beautiful parks that everyone can enjoy. Impressively, there are over 200 traditional and historic parks within the city’s theoretical walls, many of which connect up with paved cycle paths and trails. The mountain parks nestle themselves amongst the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, meaning there is a space that everyone can enjoy, on foot or on a bike. This is such a peaceful and tranquil activity that is only as physically demanding as you want it to be, and of course, offers some exceptional fresh air and sensational views.

Haunted Denver – A Tour

For those who are wanting something a little more stimulating and interactive, why not brave a tour around Denver’s most haunted neighborhood! Capitol Hill has a somewhat fascinating and disturbing history, and the buildings that reside there are said to be haunted by spirits of those that died by tragedy, such as construction incidents in the Capitol building.

Ghosts aside, you will get to experience seeing some of the most iconic buildings from hundreds of years ago, and get a feel for what life was like in a different time – an excellent adventure choice for a history lover with a strong stomach!

Party!

It might be that even the people who are not ‘party people’ are itching to let their hair down in ways that did not appeal before due to the pandemic, which is why attending a party is never a bad idea. However, you might want to keep things private and personal, catching up with old friends, making new friends, and hosting something of your own. A cocktail party goes down a treat with many party lovers, just make sure you have adequate space and plan your party with everyone in mind (including the non-alcoholic drinkers!). To add a touch of luxury, and avoid having to be in several places at once, hiring a Denver bartending service will take a lot of the hassle out, meaning you can spend more time mingling with your guests!

Denver Museum of Nature and Science

Put your hands up if you have missed going to museums! They are one of the foundations of culture and history, often a lovely and interesting place to escape to, and can offer you a break from the stresses and strains of daily life. Denver Museum of Nature and Science offers some incredible exhibits you can immerse yourself in, and if you do need a little sit-down, they also boast an IMAX!
