Reading Time: 3 minutes

The latest album by Moby, called “Reprise“, is perhaps his best work to date. Choose to follow the golden path with this album, and you will not be disappointed. In a world of music where it seems like artists are churning out one hit after the other, it takes time to find an artist who has the talent and dedication to create such elaborate work.

“Reprise” is an opportunity for Moby to revisit the musical highlights of his life’s work in a completely new way. Reprise sees Moby revisiting and reimagining musical highlights from his past. Together with the Budapest Art Orchestra, he has re-envisioned some of his most recognizable rave classics and anthems with new arrangements for orchestra and acoustic instruments.

This album drinks in those qualities and promises an experience that you will not soon forget. You don’t have to buy expensive tickets or pay obscenely long lines at concerts for this kind of musical theatre; all you need is a headphone at your disposal, as well as a desire for something more special than your average song on the radio.
Moby’s vocals are rich and raw, and the music is original and subtle. In a world where just about every song is filled with synthesizers and multi-track quality productions, this album contrasts by being simple yet effective.

But don’t take my word for it; listen to it yourself. This album is available via iTunes online, or if you can’t find it there, you can get it at your local independent record store.

I am glad Moby has chosen to release this album now instead of waiting until next year or later this year. He has found a way to separate himself from the herd. Sure, his work has always been above average, but this album seems to show that he knows when to let out his inner child and allow this creativity to flow.
This album is refreshing and original. Try and find something you don’t like about it, or say that it is not what people expect from this type of music. Rather than trying to compete with those who have chosen commercially driven ways of making music, Moby makes music for the sole purpose of entertaining and expressing his excitement with his life’s work. The result shows how much he loves what he does and how he has given up any other option other than creating artistry in mind. Please visit the official website to read more about this amazing album:

If you want to buy these songs, do not just buy them and listen without giving a second thought to what they are about. Really get inside the artwork Moby has created for this album.
This album is not for everyone, but it is for those who will appreciate the artistic creativity that goes into each song. This music has so much depth that you will be lucky if you could find it on the first go-around. I urge you to give this album at least two listens before making a judgement call on your overall opinion of it.
