Great Britain, you’re invited!

Less than 2 month after the marvelous Summer Olympic games in London, VisitBritain launches a campaign called “Great Britain, you are invited”. The concept of the “You’re Invited” initiative unveiled five celebrity ambassadors, all of whom have recorded a short film promoting different aspects of Great Britain. Dame Judi Dench waxes lyrical on the nation’s heritage, Hever Castle and stately homes while Slumdog Millionaire star Dev Patel talks about the energy and multicultural fascination at the heart of London and Jamie Oliver talks about food and off-the-beaten track delights. Other ambassadors, including actor Matt Smith, who plays Dr Who, will come on-board. You can visit the official website here for more information and enjoy a lovely time in such a great country. Bentley, 60 years of Motorsport at Goodwood

Bentley, 60 years of Motorsport at Goodwood

The ‘Home of Bentley’ at Goodwood featured a range of Bentley models as well as a vision of the company’s future – the EXP 9 F SUV concept. Joining the EXP 9 F on display was the Mulsanne Mulliner Driving Specification (MDS) and the new Continental GT V8 and the New Continental GT Speed – both of which also went ‘up the Hill’. Fresh from completing the Mille Miglia for the third time, the Team Car was driven at Goodwood by Bentley’s Chairman and Chief Executive, Wolfgang Dürheimer. Driving duties…

New Balenciaga Flora Botanica – disappointing

It is true that we cannot succeed everything, and with the launch of the new fragrance by Balenciaga – Flora Botanica – it is precisely the case. Basically we cannot understand why such a launch. Is Coty Inc, the owners of the Balenciaga fragrance license putting pressure on Balenciaga ? Or is it just “Ok, we got it wrong”. As we can see the new “egerie” is Kristen Stewart. But essentially she is a cliché and that is what I criticize the most Balenciaga’s choice. After a magnificent Charlotte Gainsbourg, completely out of the mainstreams, they just go 360 degrees on the cliché-girl. The name now. FLORABOTANICA. Probably they tried to stick to a certain heritage and…
