Reading Time: 5 minutes

The world that we live in has hundreds of breathtaking places to visit; it’s no shock that people who love to travel can rarely visit every place on Earth that they want to. It’s too big! That’s why almost everyone makes a list – a list that encompasses the best of the best places. A list that includes their ‘traveling goals,’ per say

But some people don’t know where to start that list. Some people have too many exquisitely beautiful places running through their mind to be able to narrow them down and simply choose.

That’s okay; we’ve got you covered. Check out the list we narrowed down below, specifically for you! Then, at least you’ll have a starting point with some information about the destinations to go by. Let’s get started with Venice, Italy.

Venice, Italy

Top-places-to-visit

The canals in this city are endless – and that’s not an exaggeration. One hundred and fifty of them connect one part of town to the next. You could quite literally tour them for days.

But, if you get bored, there’s always time to troll the sidewalks and eye the beautiful bridges that were built hundreds of years ago. Romance looms in the air, so whatever you do will be luxurious.

Taj Mahal – Agra, India

Taj-Mahal

The Taj Mahal is one of the 7 wonders of the world – if that many people voted on the best places in the universe, and they were only able to choose 7 places (with on of them being the Taj Mahal), we’d have to agree with them. This masterpiece will be known across countries and generations, now and to come.

This infamous landmark was built back in the 1600s with gorgeous white marble stone. Today, it is considered the most perfect specimen of Muslim art, considering it was crafted using Persian, Islamic, Turkish, and Indian architectural styles. This site to see also has countless gardens, several sunken flower beds, and a linear reflecting pool for all to see when they visit.

Machu Picchu

Machu-Pichu

It may be a World Heritage spot, but it’s also the most popular spot to visit in all of Peru. Machu Picchu has an 8,000-foot elevation that will leave you breathless – but that’s not the only part of the mountain that’s outstanding.

Like the Taj Mahal, Machu Picchu also made the list of the 7 wonders of the world, meaning it’s pretty spectacular. When and if you make it down to this mountain, try your hardest to get as high on the hills as you can. Take a look around and you’ll see sweeping, perfect views along with the city’s grand works of architecture.

Giza, Egypt

Giza-Egypt

The pharaohs and kings of the Egyptian era got to see them – and you should, too!

The Great Sphynx and the Great Pyramid of Giza are enormous works of Egyptian art. In fact, the reason why they’re so big is probably because Giza was the capital of Egypt during the first pharaohs reign – everything had to be magnificent and grand for him.

Believe us when we say, this location is definitely on almost everyone’s bucket list, and it’s time for it to go on yours.

Antelope Canyon, Arizona

Antelope-Canyon-Arizona

We know you’ve heard of a canyonbefore, but do you have any idea what a slot canyon is? Well, Antelope Canyon is one of them.

This spectacular area of the world is in the American Southwest, and many people don’t consider making a trip out there – probably because the Grand Canyon is always taking the gold home.

Antelope Canyon translates to “the place where water runs through rocks,” from the Navajo language. And, it’s true, water does run through rocks here, due to the erosion the canyon has experienced over time. Plus, it’s pretty awesome that the spaces in between the rock formations allow the sunlight to come through in such an amazing way, that it creates exquisite patterns for all its visitors to see.

Victoria Falls – Zambia and Zimbabwe

Victoria-Falls

If you thought Niagara Falls was big, you had it all wrong.

Victoria Falls stretches an entire mile wide, making it the world’s absolute largest waterfall. We did our research, and if you visit between the months of February and May, you’ll be able to see the clearest, most breathtaking views of the waterfall. Keep in mind, that it lets a new rush of water drop (500 million liters) every 60 seconds, so you won’t miss anything if you’re a few minutes late to the destination.

Okay, now get out your pen and notepad and start writing down your list! Some of the places we named for you above are on the list of the most exquisite destinations to visitin all of the world; something definitely piqued your interest (if not all of our suggestions).

Start saving and start planning your next getaway – we know you’ll have a complete blast if it’s off of our list!
