A little more than one year ago, LVMH announced the recruitment of Jacques Cavallier. One of the most talented Master Perfumer of his generation whose career up to now was written on the path of success. With the project of launching the very first Louis Vuitton fragrance, only an in-house Perfumer would be able to translate the environment of such a luxury brand. LVMH wishes to do things right. A couple of years ago when they hired François Demachy, Master Perfumer at Chanel, the aim was to have a complete mastery of Ingredient quality, formulation and in fine the all creation process. Louis Vuitton opens first Global Flagship store in Brazil

Louis Vuitton just opened the first Global Flagship store in Latin America. It is located at Iguatemi Mall in Sâo Paulo – Jardims area. Inspired by the architecture concept of the LV New Bond Street in London, the store reveals several separate rooms by specialization. From The “Art of Travel” towards Mens, women’s ready-to-wear up to accessories collections. There is another section dedicated to Haute Maroquinerie where customers can choose up to 80,000 combinations to get a unique design for a handbag. The leather brand asked brazilian designers Fernando and Humberto Campana for creating an area called “Cabinet de voyage”. With this launch, Louis Vuitton reinforce its presence in Brazil and South America, one of the strongest regions in terms of growth for luxury products. Since the ex-URSS disappeared, many brands, especially the luxury ones have been trying hard to make good money in Russia. Luxury shopping malls in Moscow were built and many companies installed subsidiaries there. But are they really making money? What is the luxury industry status today? Until the global financial crisis of 2009, the luxury market in Russia was at the level of 8 billion dollars. Since the crisis stroke hardly many of the industrial countries, this figure was basically cut by half. Cartier, the famous french jeweler is revealing this week a beautiful cinematographic film about the brand. It is a beautiful movie-retrospective of 165 years of creation. It is a 3,5 mn of pure dream in which they used a cutting-edge special effects. The Brand wanted this project to be treated like a real movie, not only in terms of visual aspects but also in terms of budgets. The film was directed by Bruno Aveillan, a multi-rewarded advertising movie director who has been successfully working for Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Guerlain, Paco Rabanne, Jaguar, Samsung, Nike….
