Hermes will always surprise us as they have the way of making us dream in ways that we would not expect. This year they revealed in Baselworld, an amazing timepiece called Hermes Dressage L’Heure Masquée (time veiled in french). You can discover our full watch review here. Inspired The principle is as simple as beautiful. The watch owner plays again with the perception of time and decides when he wishes to display it. The hours hand is hidden behind the minutes hand and circle the dial once every sixty minutes. To reveal time, the owner need to press the crown of the watch so the hours hand get to the accurate time position. When the user releases the crown, that hour hand disappears once again directly behind the minute hand.

Romain Gauthier Logical one secret

Romain Jerome Logical One Secret
It is not new the fact that Romain Gauthier excels in the art of watch-making. This year the genius watch-maker shows his brand in a different angle, the one of Art. With the launch of Logical One Secret, his most complicated watch,  he just has been rewarded by the prize for the Best Men’s Complication Watch at the 2013 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève. We discover this extraordinary timepiece in which there is a dual celebration between the pocket watch and the wrist watch. The dial is covered with a cover filled with 181 diamonds done by Atelier Bunter in Geneva. As said previously: state of the art. A gentle squeeze on the pusher at 4 o’clock lifts the cover, revealing the complexity of the multi-patented constant force movement. Accuracy is obtained for this escapement with a fusee (cone in French) and chain regulation system.

Christophe Claret Margot
Very often, watch-making complications are a more “men’s world” as most of the time technicality prevails on poetry. Of course complications do not have gender but sometimes we might miss a little dream. And here, for the first time you will find a intelligent complication intended to the feminine wrists. Christophe Claret honors a beautiful world of nature and love imagination thanks to Margot. And amazing watch with a daisy flower in the center of the movement and dial. Based on the traditional petals counting “he loves me, he loves me not” you can literally take out the flower petals just by using the right pusher. A very ingenious process allows the magic to occurs.
