From best luxury Bloggers to top Influencers… the new era of online visibility.

Reading Time: 10 minutes

We tend to say there are 152 million bloggers around the world. That seems a lot, especially when you know that every second a new blog is created. Bloggers are a quite recent phenomenon and brands have been using them as a leverage for visibility. In the past 2 to 3 years, brands are not seeking bloggers anymore, they want influencers, meaning people who can drive attention to what they think towards millions of people. The buzz landscape is changing. From a luxury blog to influencers, from online writers to social media celebrities… welcome to the next level of online visibility.

top-bloggers-online-influencers

Blogger, a full story of a personal website.

Probably the first blog in history was Links.net created in 1994 by university student Justin Hall. Obviously at that time nobody would call it a “blog”. It was described as a personal web page. We needed to wait 3 years to see the birth of the term “weblog”. It was used by Jorn Barger on an article appeared on Robot Wisdom. The name came from the fact we would log into the web in order to publish a post. From weblog people ended up using only blog. Then several blog platforms were created to allow people to be empowered with web creation.

  • Open Diary in October 1998
  • LiveJournal in March 1999
  • Pitas in July 1999
  • Blogger in August 1999
  • WordPress in May 2003
  • Weebly in February 2006
  • Tumblr in April 2007
  • Pen.io in February 2011
  • Svbtle in January 2012
  • Medium in August 2012
  • Postach.io in February 2013
  • Ghost in October 2013

ghost-blogging-platform

Back in 1999, there were 23 blogs in the web. Today as previously mentioned there are more than 152 million. It shows how technology grew and allowed people to become content creators. Luxury brands have immediately recognized the power of blogging. Fashion was definitely the first luxury segment to give credits to fashion and lifestyle blogs. Here is a quick recap of the first influent fashion blogs:

  • StyleDiary.net in August 2004
  • BryanBoy.com in October 2004
  • TheSartorialist.com in September 2005
  • StyleBubble.com in March 2006
  • GaranceDorée.com in June 2006
  • StyleRookie.com in April 2008

The years 2000 were definitely the golden age of blogging. People would go from completely anonymous to online super stars. Their websites would rank number one on search engines, so everything these people would say could potentially become the rule for millions of people. They would influence trends, create and destroy brands. All first rows on fashion shows would be dedicated to these famous people from the web. They would travel business class, sign make up and fashion collection as well as publish their first biographies and fashion books.  What made their success? They were passionate, free, and would use the web to tell their opinion about what they experienced. People would believe more on what a blogger would say rather than a journalist limited by the advertising revenue.

After fashion, other topics became very popular online. Design, architecture, beauty fragrances and make-up, real estate, luxury travel, watches or luxury cars.

15 years later, blogging is less than social media

blogging-vs-social-media

It’s been now more than 15 years since bloggers became the focus of luxury brands. We have now a new generation of bloggers, who are investing their time on social media rather than writing blog posts. These new generation expresses its point of view on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Weibo and more recently on Instagram and Snapchat. Why this?

1- Search Engines are tuff, visibility is not free anymore.

Remember back in the days where blogs were number one in the search engine results page? That was the time of the free web. Everybody had his chance to succeed. Today search engines run complex algorithms in which rules can change several times a year. New protocols and new criteria are put in place, so unless you dedicate quite a lot of your time in optimizing your blog for search engines, you will have zero visibility. So having great content is not sufficient anymore to appear in the web.

2- Writing great content requires patience

We use to say that it takes around 2 years for a blog to rise from invisibility. From this article about how to become a successful luxury blogger we can see that networking is a very important point as your content might take some time to appear. The new generation of bloggers might not wait that long so social media became a quicker way to express themselves and being out there.

3- Social Media, the true revolution of the worldwide web

If the web was an amazing evolution in world communications, we can consider that Social Media is the real revolution. It change the way talked, write, display themselves with their friends and with larger communities. It all started with Facebook and now the real deal is happening on Instagram and Snapchat. Brands are looking to seduce a new generation of customers and these young people are mostly on these social networks. Some of these bloggers became real stars of social platforms and some of their videos can reach more people than television.

Social Media, the new king of cool

With the massive penetration rate of social media, we can say that it is by far the most efficient way to reach a global community. There are 3,49 billion people in the world with access to the internet. This is 46% of total world population. While you might find the web activity important, it is not to compare with the social activity. In average there are 2,73 million blog posts written everyday in the world (Source: Internet Stats and WordPress). It sounds a lot but you cannot compare it with what happens on Social Media every day:

  • 60 million photos are published on Instagram
  • 500 million tweets are written
  • 8oo million snaps are shared on snapchat
  • 1 billion pieces of content are published on Facebook

There are 2.34 billion people in the world who regularly uses one or more social networks. This is twice as total China population, which would make Social Media as the biggest country in the world. 78% of total USA population has a social network profile. So definitely Social Media is the new king of cool. During the years that organic visibility was possible on Facebook (mainly before the company’s IPO), bloggers would create their pages and gather million of fans. Since organic visibility on Facebook dropped to 2 or 3%, you need to pay in order to reach your own fans. This has for sure calmed down new bloggers aspirations vis-à-vis of Marc Zuckerberg’s platform. So new bloggers needed to move to other lands, where organic reach was still possible. Visibility is not the only reason why bloggers moved away to other social networks like Instagram and snapchat. A new generation of people is not necessary willing to be on the same social network as their parents and grand-parents. So they choose their own platform to interact. Mobile first and the fact that images and instant messaging are big trends, also helped Instagram, WhatsApp and Snapchat to shine. Here are some interesting statistics from Statista.

instagram-active-users

snapchat-monthly-users

whatsapp-monthly-users

Instagram with its 500 million active monthly users is the second most popular social network in the world. It belongs to the number one social network, Facebook. With millions of photos uploaded every day, it represents an amazing opportunity for brands and bloggers to collaborate.

Bloggers and Instagram

Instagram is an amazing platform and bloggers found the perfect way to express themselves. Quick, practical and relevant, Instagram translated well the current context: mobile, image and video driven, ultra-connected. So nowadays bloggers do not even have a blog. They instagram their experiences and some of those pictures published worth thousands of dollars. If we take the example of Halley Elephante – @the_salty_blonde is interesting. Rather than spending hours managing a blog, she prefers to dedicate her time into her instagram account. She has 353’000 followers and each publication gets between 3’000 to 13’000 likes.

Probably one of the biggest super stars on Instagram is Kylie Jenner. The young Kardashian has more than 77.6 million followers. Each time she posts something it gets one million likes. People say that an instagram post from her is worth USD 350’000 in PR valorization.

Une photo publiée par Kylie (@kyliejenner) le

Here is our top 5 bloggers you wish to follow on Instagram. Brand are definitely trying to collaborate with them on a regular base.

  • Susie Bubble – 310’000 followers, 3’000 likes per post.
  • Alexa Chung – 4,2 million followers, 35’000 likes per post
  • Anna Dello Russo – 1,2 milioni followers, 3’200 likes per post
  • Ashley Madekwe – 568’000 followers, 8’000 likes per post
  • Eva Chen – 634’000 followers, 12’000 likes per post

As we can see, Instagram became a PR machine for brands to showcase their new products, services and collaborations. Instagramers are new bloggers. some of them might have a website but many others will not bother with a website due to the time consuming aspect of it. A super star instagramer can be paid between 600 to 6’000 USD for an appearance during an event and each post can be priceless.

Bloggers and Snapchat

Snapchat is the new social network that overtook youtube, Facebook and Instagram in terms of growth and video views. With a total of 100 million active users, Snapchat breaks all records. It took snapchat one year to get at the same level as Twitter in 4 years. Statistics are crazy:

  • 60% of monthly active users contribute with content creation
  • Snapchat users share 9’000 snaps per second
  • There are daily 10 billion video views in the platform
  • 400 million snapchat stories are created every day
  • Between 10 to 20 million people watch stories in a daily base
  • Each Snapchat ad is seen between 500’000 to 1 million times a day
  • 70% os Snapchaters are female and below 25 years old.

Snapchat is the ultimate eldorado for brands to leverage a younger engaged generation. Brands try to find a way to integrate their messages in order to connect to influencers. With the strong development rate of the platform Snapchat has now the full attention of brands. Some people adopted the platform in an early stage and now they are quite influent. Here are our top 5 bloggers to follow on snapchat.

snapchat-eat-sleep-wear

snapchat-mr-kate

  • Eat-Sleep-Wear – @eatsleepwear
  • Mr Kate – @mrkate
  • We Wore That – @weworewhat
  • Song of Style – @songofstyle
  • The Blond Salad – @chiaraferragni

When brands have new products and services to promote, their key preoccupation is instant visibility. No matter if this visibility is ephemeral. Everything that is not happening right now is already old news. Brands evolved from inviting celebrities that would generate editorial articles from the press, to instagram crews, Facebook live teams and influencers that will share their experience with their fans, followers and subscribers. Welcome to the right here right now society.

What will happen to traditional blogging? Probably blogs will evolve or die. The ones who wish to insist in the editorial line will evolve their websites into webzines, then probably invest into a more mature business to compete with online versions of traditional press. In any case, brands have never had so many opportunities to showcase their universes through online influencers. The only thing: it needs to make sense, otherwise it is just another advertising.

How Rose Gold Became the New Black in Jewelry

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Just like fashion, jewelry sees its own trends that change from season to season. If you’re looking to stay on-trend when it comes time to picking a stunning piece of jewelry, then you need to pick up the very latest in diamond rings – the rose gold diamond ring. This ring is popping up all over the place; from celebrities, to runways, to bridal shows it seems that rose gold has become the new black in jewelry. And what’s especially exciting is that it is popular amongst all age groups, making it a universal trend. So exactly how did rose gold become the new “must-have” in world of jewelry? Well let’s take a closer look.

rose-gold-jewelry

Rose Gold is not “New”

Now here’s something that many find really surprising – as we are all running around heralding rose gold as the newest trend, the fact of the matter is that it’s not new at all! In fact, rose gold has been around since about the 19th century where it first popped up in Russia as common option. Skip ahead to the 1920s where it made a real impact thanks to Cartier, who used it in a popular ring at the time. It then became synonymous with romance, so suddenly it was showing up everywhere during the mid-Victorian times. Over time it began to drop off the radar so to speak, and suddenly by the 1980s and 90s white and yellow gold were just about the only colors you saw. Rose gold was something you’d only see in a vintage shop until lately.

Pairing it with Other Golds

Rose gold is incredibly versatile, as today’s jewelers are re-discovering. Sure you can go ahead and purchase a rose gold diamond ring, but you’ll find that it’s quite common to use other colored golds in the ring. The trio of rose, white, and yellow gold are gorgeous and luxurious together, so many of these settings are combining all three. Of course rose gold works well with diamonds, but it works with popular gemstones as well. Include a morganite or opal with the diamond and suddenly you have a setting that is unique and timeless, never mind the fact it’s right on trend. It’s still seen as a color of “romance”, but it’s got a casual look about it as well. It works just as well with your formal gown as it does with jeans and a white shirt, or your work clothes. It goes back to the whole versatility of the color.

Don’t Just Stop with a Ring

Why not highlight your ring with a lovely set of rose gold earrings, chain, and/or pendant? When it comes to your clothing, rose gold works lovely with red, black, white, blue, green, peach, and many other colors. You won’t have any problem finding jewelry in rose gold nowadays, and don’t expect that to change any time soon. It appears that rose gold was just waiting in wings to be rediscovered once again and make its mark on the world of fine jewelry.

Sisley Eau du Soir 2016 Limited Edition: White and Gold

sisley-eau-du-soir-limited-editions

The new floral and graphic Eau du Soir Limited Edition is eye-catching. The bright white lacquered bottle is decorated with circle arabesques and black and gold petals merged in a hypnotic round.

Eau du Soir is the second perfume by the house of Sisley and it is feminine, elegant and eternal. Its complex and rich composition is based on perfect harmony of contrasted lines: fresh citrus, sensual flowers, warm amber and musk. The flacon, with its golden cap was designed by Polish sculptor Bronisław Krzysztof. The top notes are mandarin orange, grapefruit, spruce and carnation. The heart consists of seringo, jasmine, rose and lily-of-the-valley. Musk, amber and patchouli are in the base. Countess Isabelle d’Ornano was given Eau de Soir as a gift by her husband, count Hubert d’Ornano in 1990.

sisley-eau-du-soir-ingredients

The count created a unique floral composition in the centre of which was Spanish flower seringa. Its fragrance, as in the case of many other types of white flowers, radiates an intense scent through night air and attracts night butterflies to pollinate it. The perfume was created to remind countess of her childhood in Spain. The name was chosen because of night flower seringe (in French, soir means evening). For several years Eau de Soir was countess’ personal perfume and it was no sooner than 1999, after her friend persuaded her, that it was released for public.  Eau du Soir was created by Jeannine Mongin, Hubert d’Ornano and Isabelle d’Ornano.

This year Sisley decide to combine the richness of bright gold with the immaculate purity of white color. The graphic decoration represents very well what Eau du Soir is: Floral and hypnotic.

Top 5 Most Luxurious Healthcare Centers On the Planet

Reading Time: 4 minutes

The world is filled with an abundance of medical centers who all compete to provide excellent healthcare services. However, there are a select few who provide a much higher quality of service to individuals who are willing to pay extra to be seen by a doctor of nursing practice. These facilities also utilize the latest equipment and offer luxurious amenities that you wouldn’t be able to find at a typical healthcare center. In this post, we’re going to take a look at five of the most luxurious health care centers on earth.

1) Diamond Physicians

Diamond Physicians are described as being one of the leading luxury health care service providers in America. Unlike many health care centers, they charge a flat monthly fee, which is separate from what their patients have to pay to be seen by a physician. However, unlike most centers, they limit the amount of patients that they take in per year to 600 patients only. They proclaim that by doing this, it gives the physicians the time they need to focus all their attention on each individual patient, which leads to a higher quality of service.

2) Clinique La Prairie

Clinique La Prairie is a famous healthcare center, which has been in establishment for approximately 80 years. Many patients describe the setting of this health care center as being somewhat retro/sci fi. However, the healthcare center primarily deals with providing “rejuvenation” treatments and have proclaimed that many of the world’s wealthiest people visit them on a yearly basis.

3) Elite Health

The headquarters of Elite Health is located in Miami Beach and features the latest in laboratory equipment, diagnostic tools as well as specialists who all have their doctorate in nursing practice, some of whom got their DNP online through an online university such as Bradley University. Individuals who are willing to pay extra for a more luxurious healthcare experience, stand to receive luxurious amenities that you typically wouldn’t find at a local health care center, as well as the opportunity to be seen by world-renowned doctors, some of whom have actually pioneered the latest innovations in medicine.

4) Lanserhof Luxury Health Center

The Lanserhof Luxury Health Center is located in Austria. The company proclaims that besides the fact that their patients will be simply amazed at the visually appealing aspects of the architecture of the facility, they will also gain the opportunity to experience the highest medical competence, through a staff of therapists, specialist and doctors. The facility itself also offers amenities such as a detox center, mind and health programs, spas, a Swedish massage center, yoga, energy therapy, tai chi/qi gong and life executive coaching.

5) Forest Park Medical Center

Forest Park Medical Center is described as being one of the most luxurious and beautiful medical centers in the world. This medical center recently expanded and offers improved, state of the art amenities. The interior portion of the facility includes a modern lounge area, floor to ceiling glass walls and an auditorium-style seating setup. Interestingly enough, this medical center also features several restaurants on the exterior portions of it, a drive thru banking location and several retail opportunities as well.

Many people assume that luxurious medical centers that charge a higher fee, only provide amenities that you wouldn’t find at other medical centers. While it may be true that these types of medical centers offer some impressive, luxurious amenities, they also feature the latest equipment and limit the amount of patients they take in per year which allows for a higher quality of service.

The new e-Ink keyboard by Apple – what now?

0
Reading Time: 5 minutes

It is always surprising to see there are people in this world who spend most of their time analysing, observing, digging out, searching and revealing every single thing Apple might do. At least the good news for the Curpetino company is that they do not need to spend millions of dollars in viral and buzz campaigns. People do it for them for free. Last rumour that becomes a reality is what we call the e-Ink keyboard. The tecnology itself is not a rumor but the viral component comes from the idea that Apple might equip the next generation of laptops with it. And this is big news as it has been a little while that Apple did not focus on their macbook pro range.

What is the e-Ink keyboard?

As we all know, a laptop keyboard is by nature…. small. You cannot have all the keys you wish and sometimes (depending on your keyboard language) certain letters are almost impossible to hit. Did you ever tried to do the hashtag sign # or a copyright © on a macbook keyboard? Unless you know the combination of multiple keys, you will be looking at your keyboard for several minutes and realize you cannot do it. Here is how e-ink keyboards will play a majestic role.
The e-ink technology exists since the 70´s. A clever engineer from Xerox PARC started working on a project of electronic paper that would display texts and even pictures from a low energy consumption support. Unfortunately he never succeeded to make it happened. 16 years later the technology surfaced in the MIT and several scientific papers were published and the technology pattented. The E-Ink Company was created and several applications were found through the years. From mobile phones to e-books readers, the e-ink technology got perfected, improved and miniaturized.
The initial approach was to create tiny spheres which were half white and half black, and which, depending on electric charge, would rotate such that the white side or the black side would be visible on the display. Albert and Comiskey were told this approach was impossible by most experienced chemists and materials scientists and they had trouble creating these perfectly half-white, half-black spheres, and during his experiments, Albert accidentally created some all-white spheres. Comiskey experimented with charging and encapsulating those all-white particles in microcapsules mixed in with a dark dye. The result was a system of microcapsules which could be applied to a surface and then could be charged independently to create black and white images. A first patent was filed for this microencapsulated electrophoretic display by MIT in October 1996.
e-ink-technology
One of the most known applications of this technology is the Amazon Kindle. The famous e-book reader utilizes the e-ink technology. Thanks to its high-contrast display and drastic low-power need, it makes the perfect portable digital display technology. In the image below you can see a big zoom-in into a Kindle screen. We can easily see the small black and white capsules.
kindle-e-ink-screen

Apple and the e-ink technology

Why Apple is now taking in consideration this technology into its hardware? Probably the iPhone/iPad virtual keyboards helped Apple to understand that people are happy to have several keyboards installed and the hability to press on a key and get more options is something very useful and practical.
Apple-iphone-virtual-keyboard

10 years after the launch of the first Macbook, Apple realized that laptops became lighter, more performant, very design. The mouse or let’s say the pointer evolved. We have retina screens and HD cameras. Software evolved a thousand times and the only thing that remained the same (more or less) are keyboards. Everytime you buy a new laptop you need to order your country/language keyboard, and get used to some modifications. As the laptop concept tends to be smaller and more portable, the choice of each key is crucial. It started first with the disapearing of the numerical keys, replaced by multi-task keys and the usage of shift+… Then, certain special characters like Hashtags or copyright signs became a higher level of key combinations with Alt+…. Apple is definitely trying to use technology to make your life easier.

apple-e-ink-macbook-keyboard

apple-e-ink-keyboard

It has been more than 17 month that there was no updates in the Macbook Pro range. On September 7th we expected to see a new series of Macbook but the scene was stolen by the iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and the Apple Watch 2. Now rumors say that on October 27th, Apple will release their update on their laptop series. Some people say there will be a new AMR Processor and the e-ink keyboard that would for sure bring the macbook series to another level of technology. As the mini-jack disappeared from the iPhone 7, people speculate about the disappearance of this plug from the Macbook Pro as well. It would be either replaced by something else or completely erased. There is also the idea of a new “magic toolbar” as a customized interactive toolbar present in the top part of our laptop keyboard.

The only way to know for sure is to connect to the next Apple keynote on October 27th. For other queries about Apple, you can connect to the official website here: www.apple.com.

The 30 Most Iconic Sun-glasses of all time [Infographics]

0
Reading Time: 3 minutes

Here is a cool infographic about the 30 most iconic sunglasses of all time. All of them reflects a strong image of the most amazing actors, singers and even cartoon characters. Sunglasses are the most stylish

most-iconic-sun-glasses

In prehistoric and historic time, Inuit peoples wore flattened walrus ivory “glasses,” looking through narrow slits to block harmful reflected rays of the sun. It is said that the Roman emperor Nero liked to watch gladiator fights with emeralds. These, however, appear to have worked rather like mirrors. Sunglasses made from flat panes of smoky quartz, which offered no corrective powers but did protect the eyes from glare were used in China in the 12th century or possibly earlier. Ancient documents describe the use of such crystal sunglasses by judges in ancient Chinese courts to conceal their facial expressions while questioning witnesses. James Ayscough began experimenting with tinted lenses in spectacles in the mid-18th century, around 1752. These were not “sunglasses” as that term is now used; Ayscough believed blue- or green-tinted glass could correct for specific vision impairments. Protection from the Sun’s rays was not a concern for him.

In the early 1920s, the use of sunglasses started to become more widespread, especially among stars of movies. It is commonly believed that this was to avoid recognition by fans, but an alternative reason sometimes given is that they often had red eyes from the powerful arc lamps that were needed due to the extremely slow speed film stocks used. The stereotype persisted long after improvements in film quality and the introduction of ultraviolet filters had eliminated this problem.

Inexpensive mass-produced sunglasses made from celluloid were first produced by Sam Foster in 1929. Foster found a ready market on the beaches of Atlantic City, New Jersey, where he began selling sunglasses under the name Foster Grant from a Woolworth on the Boardwalk. By 1938 Life magazine wrote of how sunglasses were a “new fad for wear on city streets … a favorite affectation of thousands of women all over the U.S.” It stated that 20 million sunglasses were sold in the United States in 1937, but estimated that only about 25% of American wearers needed them to protect their eyes. Polarized sunglasses first became available in 1936, when Edwin H. Land began experimenting with making lenses with his patented Polaroid filter.

Nowadays everybody wears sunglasses, from small children of 2 years old to 90 years old grand-mothers. Technology and design have much improved the production of these glasses in mass. The best of the best is to have your own sunglasses adapted to your vision, which makes them more than just a simple fashion accessory.

Go on a Work-Study-Holiday

A lot of countries now offer a WHV, or Working Holiday Visa, which allows you to travel across the country while working at the same time. You can pick up smaller jobs as you backpack through a country of your choice; this allows you to earn money as you travel, which in turn will help you extend your time in the country further.

A WHV is a great way to have an adventure. You can even do it while pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a university in the United States. Thanks to the internet and technology, universities such as Arizona State University are opening up courses in various fields. You can, for instance, pursue an online RN to BSN degree from ASU while traveling across Australia.

You can return from the trip already halfway through the course and with enough money in your savings, which means you can take the time to find a better job and restart your career if you have to. It is a big risk to take, but it’s an adventure nonetheless.

Be Mindful with Your Days

Sometimes, all you have to do to have a longer trip or holiday is to be more diligent with your schedules. Most Americans have an average of 110 travel days to use. On average, we get 10 days (or 2 weeks) of vacation along with around 50 weekends. There are holidays that fall in the middle of the week too.

Let’s take this year’s Veterans Day as an example. Veterans Day will be on November 11, which is a Wednesday. If you spend 2 vacation days on the Thursday and Friday after Veterans Day, and you add the two days you get that weekend, you actually have 5 days to travel to any destination you like. You can also do the same with Thanksgiving, which will be on Thursday, November 24.

Financing the Adventures

Finding time is the easy part of the equation. The next step is to actually find the money to travel. If you choose to go with the work-holiday we talked about earlier, stretching your trips will be very easy to do. If not, however, there are still many ways you can finance the adventure. You can, for example, rent your room out when you’re gone. You can also use high-interest savings and set saving goals to prepare for a particular extended trip long before the departure date.

As they say, all roads lead to Rome. There are many ways you can turn your trips into extended adventures. These tips will get you started right away.

Are you preparing to be a beach bombshell? Genius style tricks like tummy-trimming and super awesome flattering swim-suits can turn even the most swimsuit-wary girl into a certified Sun goddess. But there are some swimsuit myths which lets the girls backed. Let’s debunk some of them:

Myth #1: Never wear a white bathing suit
The fact is that white bathing-suit in a thick lining and textured fabric will block the show-through and this decreases the usability of a bathing suit.

Myth #2: The more coverage, the better
Extra fabric in the swimsuit can emphasize the thing you actually want to hide. For example, things like boys shorts can squeeze and exaggerate extra flesh, whereas a string bikini can be adjusted to lay flat on the skin.

Myth #3: Wear black to look more slimmer
Darker shades like navy, brown, plum and dark green can do the trick, too. Moreover, vertical and diagonal stripes and tiny prints also help a lot to make the body look leaner.

Myth #4: Buy the same size swimwear as your clothing

  • Bend over and check if your chest spills out the front.
  • Lower your arms at your sides and see if your breasts are coming out from the sides of the suit.
  • Do the straps fall off when you relax your shoulders?
  • Sitting cross-legged, does the bottom pop open

5 Ways To Protect Your Perfect Swimsuit

  • Hand washing the suit in cool water with mild soap is the perfect option.
  • Clean the suit after every time you wear, even if you didn’t get wet, it’s important to remove the sweat, sunscreen and body oils.
  • Avoid leaning on the rough surfaces like cement, rocks or wood to prevent the snags on the suit.
  • Never wear the same swimsuit constantly for two days, or it will get stretched. It’s required to give the garment a 24-hour rest so that the spandex gets time to recover it’s shape.
